Security experts are alerting users about a new iteration of the Python-powered NodeStealer malware that is now capable of retrieving additional data from targets’ Facebook Ads Manager profiles and extracting credit card details saved in internet browsers.
“The cybercriminals are gathering financial information from the Facebook Ads Manager accounts of their targets, which could potentially facilitate Facebook ad-based malicious activities,” stated a researcher from Netskope Threat Labs.
