The hacker group associated with Russia dubbed RomCom has been connected to the exploitation of two previously unknown security vulnerabilities. One is in the Mozilla Firefox browser while the other is found in the Microsoft Windows operating system. These vulnerabilities were used in a series of cyberattacks with the objective of implanting the signature backdoor on targeted devices.
