Imitation by GamaCopy Resembles Gamaredon’s Strategies in Cyber Espionage Aimed at Russian Organizations

An unidentified threat actor has been identified replicating the techniques linked to the Kremlin-affiliated Gamaredon cybercrime group in their attacks against Russian-speaking organizations.

An unidentified threat actor has been identified replicating the techniques linked to the Kremlin-affiliated Gamaredon cybercrime group in their attacks against Russian-speaking organizations.
The operation has been linked to a threat consortium known as GamaCopy, which is believed to have similarities with another hacker group called Core Werewolf, also identified as Awaken Likho and PseudoGamaredon.
