i-PRO to support Genetec SaaS with new AI-enabled camera models

i-PRO has announced that it now supports Genetec Security Center Software as a Service (SaaS). A world-leading provider of security solutions for surveillance and public safety, i-PRO is working to offer its new AI-enabled camera models, capable of delivering 98 different metadata attributes and supporting third-party analytic applications with the new service. It is also launching a no-cost app to provide the same for existing devices in the field.

Genetec Security Center SaaS is a unified physical security solution with the capacity to scale enterprise-grade security, using a hybrid-cloud architecture to deliver a service. This is specifically designed to offer businesses a succinct deployment solution and the flexibility to select the best devices and cameras for their purposes.

i-PRO’s AI cameras’ particular speciality is in providing unique descriptors, such as shoe and bag colours and the presence of beards, along with supporting a selection of 3rd party analytic applications. With these capabilities, the cameras can facilitate an exceptional degree of event alarm detail for both individuals and vehicles. This emphasis on an application-based approach is i-PRO’s strategy to ensure current customers won’t be obligated to purchase new devices to acquire the benefits of Security Center SaaS.
