Two prominent global cybersecurity giants are collaborating to expedite the provision of cutting-edge cybersecurity services and technology for organizations worldwide, regardless of their size.

Today, Sophos has made an official declaration to acquire Secureworks®, the creator of TaegisTM, an open MDR/XDR platform delivered through SaaS that is founded on over two decades of practical detection data, expertise in security operations, and in-depth threat intelligence and research. The amalgamation of our extensive experience and esteemed standing as a top-notch supplier of managed security services and comprehensive security solutions, along with Secureworks’ proficiency in security operations culminated into the Taegis platform, is forecasted to enhance the provision of advanced MDR and XDR solutions for our clientele.

Not only is Sophos set to integrate the Taegis MDR/XDR platform with its unmatched MDR features, but it also plans to harness and merge other solutions from Secureworks to offer a wider and more robust security range. This encompasses Secureworks’ identity detection and response (ITDR), cutting-edge SIEM capabilities, security for operational technology (OT), and enhanced prioritization of vulnerability risks.
