Analysts anticipate subdued interest in Apple Vision Pro

The launch of Apple Vision Pro in Europe occurred on Friday. Nevertheless, analysts foresee limited success in terms of sales.

As per the analysis conducted by IDC, it is projected that fewer than 500,000 units of the augmented reality device will be purchased in 2024. This projection is partially attributed to the premium pricing. The Apple headset is priced at $3,499; this amount is roughly equivalent to almost 50,000 Swedish kronor, including applicable VAT and additional charges.

In contrast, Meta, the parent company of Facebook, offers its Meta Quest 3 headset for $499, while its predecessor, the Meta Quest 2, is available for $299.
