A GitHub repository that has been taken down recently, which promoted a WordPress utility for sharing posts on the internet content management system (CMS), is believed to have facilitated the theft of more than 390,000 logins.
The deceitful behavior forms a fraction of a wider assault campaign conducted by an adversarial entity known as MUT-1244 (with MUT standing for “mysterious unattributed threat”) as identified by Datadog Security Labs.
