New in Classroom Manager: Greater Google Classroom Management, Built on What Customers Already Trust
Cloud Monitor users consistently praise its intuitive, domain-wide visibility, especially when managing Google Classrooms. A centralized, organized view makes monitoring simpler, faster, and more actionable.
Based on that feedback, we’ve brought the same trusted functionality into Classroom Manager. With this update to its Google Classroom tab, IT teams and educators gain more effective control over their district’s classrooms, all from a streamlined interface built for K-12 teachers and admins.
The result: expanded visibility, streamlined search and filtering, and simplified classroom oversight, without adding complexity.
Here’s what’s new in Classroom Manager.
A High-Level View Instantly Helps You Understand Your Google Classrooms
At the top of the Google Classroom tab, you’ll see a high-level summary of classrooms in your environment.
This includes:
Total classrooms
Active classrooms
Archived classrooms
Recently modified classrooms (within the last week)
This overview helps IT administrators and instructional leaders quickly understand how many classes are currently active, whether old classes are being archived appropriately, and where recent changes are happening.
Instead of digging through reports or switching between tools, you get immediate visibility into the activity of your environment.

A Detailed Results Box with Actionable Insights
Below the summary, you’ll see a results box displaying all classrooms in your environment, accompanied by nine key columns that provide important information for each classroom.
Each classroom includes:
Course Name – The official classroom name
Section – The section the classroom was created in
Room – The assigned room number
Description – The classroom description
Enrollment Code – The code students use to join
Owner Email – The classroom owner’s email address
Alternate Link – Alternate link access to the classroom
Calendar ID – The Google Classroom’s calendar ID
Creation Time – The timestamp when the classroom was created
This structured visibility helps IT teams: quickly identify orphaned or outdated classes, audit ownership and enrollment access, support teachers faster when issues arise, and maintain stronger governance across Google Classroom.
It’s complete oversight, without complexity.
Powerful Search to Find What You Need Fast
Have you found yourself managing hundreds (or thousands) of classrooms? No problem.
The built-in search bar allows you to quickly locate classrooms by:
Course Name
Section
Room
Enrollment Code
Owner Email
Whether you’re troubleshooting a support ticket or auditing enrollment codes, search makes it easy to find exactly what you need in seconds.
Filter Classrooms by Status
Need to narrow your view even further?
The Filter function allows you to refine results by classroom status:
ACTIVE
ARCHIVED
PROVISIONED
ORPHANED
This is especially valuable for IT leaders focused on compliance and lifecycle management.
For example:
Identify orphaned classrooms with no active owner
Confirm archived classes at the end of a semester
Review provisioned classrooms before the school year begins
It’s simple, intentional control over your Google Classroom domain.

Drill Down Into Classroom Details
Clicking on any Course Name opens a detailed classroom view with further management actions.
From here, administrators can:
Transfer Ownership
Add or Remove Participants (Co-Teachers or Students)
Archive Classrooms
Delete Classrooms
You’ll also see a full breakdown of users and their roles within the classroom, helping control appropriate access.
For larger updates, bulk actions allow administrators to remove students efficiently without navigating class-by-class.
Classroom Management That’s Built for Clarity and Designed for Control
This update reinforces what makes Classroom Manager different. We’re not adding complexity. We’re simplifying your administrative tasks.
By integrating structured Google Classroom visibility into Classroom Manager, districts can eliminate manual audits, enhance teacher support, strengthen governance, and align IT oversight with instructional needs—all within a unified solution that also supports cybersecurity, web filtering, and classroom engagement.
