CRITICAL: Microsoft Updates 57 Security Vulnerabilities, 6 Currently Exploited Zero-Day Vulnerabilities
On Tuesday, Microsoft rolled out security patches to fix 57 security weaknesses in its programs, with as many as six zero-days that the company stated are presently being actively taken advantage of in real-world scenarios. Out of the total 56 weaknesses, six are deemed Critical, 50 are marked as Important, and one is classified as Low in terms of severity. Among the vulnerabilities addressed, 23 involve remote code execution flaws and 22 pertain to privilege escalation.
