Yielding to pressure, Microsoft prolongs support for Office 365 Links in Teams

Microsoft Teams Office 365 links permit individuals to acquire notifications from different services such as Trello, GitHub, or Twitter, straight into their team’s chat. It’s akin to having a real-time stream of data from these services in one’s Teams group, enabling easier staying well-informed.

All prevailing Office 365 links in all clouds will remain operational until December 2025. Yet, to carry on utilizing these links beyond December 31, 2024, users “must update the respective web address by the year’s end.” Microsoft will supply additional instructions on this process at least 90 days ahead of the due date, as mentioned in the blog.

In case the web address is not upgraded by December 31, 2024, the link will cease to operate, the corporation noted in the blog.
