Merely four years ago, the world was engulfed by the COVID-19 crisis, leading to profound changes. It’s not just about the rapid advancement of digitalization, but it pertains to the significant transformations in human behavior. An entire generation has come of age amidst the pandemic’s shadow, and even those of us who were already grown-ups were deeply impacted by alterations that we now seem inclined to overlook.

Increasingly, there is a sense of denial about the pandemic, as if we are actively expunging it from our shared memory. There exists an unaddressed collective trauma from a period that was both dreadful and revolutionary, which we now endeavor to suppress entirely.
