This week’s update arrives a bit behind schedule, following my return from an extensive month of constant travel, with the final leg completely cut off from any internet access 😲 Now, it’s time to dive deep into work as we approach the final countdown of 25 days before the grand unveiling of the revamped HIBP. I’m determined to roll out the update on May 17th, and I must say, it’s shaping up splendidly! Feel free to explore our progress and participate in discussions via the GitHub repository links below. There’s certainly a wealth of potential still waiting to be tapped into.

- I’ll be presenting at NDC Melbourne on Wednesday 30 (lots of intriguing data breach insights await)
- The LabHost “phishing as a service” platform has been effectively taken down by our law enforcement associates (they’ve shared hundreds of thousands of passwords from the now-defunct service, searchable in HIBP)
- Samsung Germany experienced a significant breach of over 200k customer records through a third-party source (allegedly due to an infostealer infecting a Spectos employee)
- Every single interface is being constructed in the public domain (the live preview link, a static site, provides a comprehensive look at the design)
- We welcome feedback via the issues log and discussion list on the open-source GitHub repository (valuable input has already streamed in through these channels)
