Generation AI is poised to revolutionize starting positions across various sectors, with 64% of executives anticipating a shift from the production to the assessment and enhancement of results in the next three years. The percentage of supervisors sharing a similar perspective stood at 71%, as per recent research by the Capgemini Research Institute.
The results imply that the conventional approach of junior staff manually producing content, data, or programming is swiftly being substituted by generation AI, which has the ability to create these outputs in a fraction of the time. Consequently, employees in these roles will concentrate more on quality assurance, crucial evaluation, and ensuring that AI outputs meet the organization’s standards, noted the report.
The conclusions are drawn from a survey conducted by the Capgemini Research Institute in May 2024, involving 1,500 executives and 1,000 starting employees from 500 companies with revenues exceeding $1 billion, aimed at examining the incorporation of generative AI.
