Three Actively Exploited Zero-Day Vulnerabilities Fixed in the Latest Security Update by Microsoft
Marking the beginning of 2025, Microsoft has released a fresh batch of patches addressing a sum of 161 security weaknesses present in its range of software products, comprising three zero-day vulnerabilities that have been actively utilized in cyber attacks.
Out of the total 161 vulnerabilities, 11 have been designated as Critical, while 149 have been categorized as Important in terms of severity. Additionally, there is another vulnerability, a non-Microsoft CVE linked to a Windows Secure Boot bypass (CVE-2024-7344), that remains unassigned.
