During the annual Ignite conference, Microsoft introduced a novel translation feature that is set to be integrated into Teams in the upcoming season. What sets this voice duplication tool — currently named as “Interpreter In Teams” — apart is its capability for users to leverage their own voice for real-time multilingual communication.
As per reports from Techcrunch, access to this technology requires a Microsoft 365 subscription.
Initially, this tool will cater to nine languages: English, French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, German, Japanese, Korean, and Mandarin. Additional languages are anticipated to be included in the future.
