Virtual Screen Mega

Last week, Virtual announced the Screen Mega — a device the dimensions and appearance of a handheld device that provides an immersive computing experience to the organization’s Virtual AR glasses: Sky, Sky Max, Sky Max Plus, Sky Ultra.

The gadget operates on Android 14, utilizes Virtual’s NebulaOS, and includes a 6.5-inch 2K touch-sensitive screen that enables individuals to manage and engage with enhanced reality (AR) content projected via the glasses. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon platform and grants entry to applications in the Google Play Store, along with streaming amenities and cloud-based gaming platforms.

The Screen Mega features two 50-megapixel rear cameras that capture immersive and 3D recordings and images. Furthermore, it contains dual USB-C ports, facilitating the simultaneous powering of the glasses and Screen Mega. The tool is compatible with Nvidia CloudXR technology, which employs Nvidia RTX GPUs for visualization.
