Qualcomm enters the realm of Windows PCs using state-of-the-art AI chips

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite offers a NPU performance per watt that surpasses competitors such as the Apple M3 by up to 2.6 times and the Core Ultra 71 by up to 5.4 times. Additionally, the Qualcomm Oryon CPU in Snapdragon X Elite pledges a CPU performance that is up to 51% faster at ISO power, matching the peak CPU performance of traditional PCs while consuming 65% less power, as mentioned in the statement.

“The Qualcomm AI Hub enables developers to implement a data model in just five minutes on devices equipped with Snapdragon chips, either through their own efforts or by utilizing Qualcomm Technologies’ expanding array of pre-optimized, readily deployable AI models.
