Proton recently introduced a document editor with end-to-end encryption, positioning it as a viable option for individuals seeking privacy compared to Microsoft Word and Google Docs.

A new feature in Proton Drive, unveiled by the renowned Swiss software provider recognized for its secure email application, offers a range of document editing capabilities targeted towards professionals.

With this tool, users have the ability to generate and modify documents, collaborate with team members in real-time, exchange comments and replies, as well as import and export various file formats like .docx and .txt. This application is accessible within Proton Drive, a secured cloud storage platform launched by the company in the year 2022.
