Fresh exploration has revealed above 145,000 publicly-accessible Industrial Control Systems (ICS) spread across 175 nations, with the United States being responsible for more than one-third of the total instances. The study, conducted by attack surface management firm Censys, determined that North America hosts 38% of these systems, while Europe holds 35.4%, Asia 22.9%, Oceania 1.7%, and South America 1.2% of them.
