Microsoft’s new Windows App lets you connect to Windows from almost any device

Microsoft’s Windows Application is presently accessible for macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and Windows gadgets, with a preview edition for Android. Users also have the option to connect to remote Windows PCs — either Windows Professional or Enterprise — through a web browser without the necessity to download or install any software.

Initially introduced in November 2023, the Windows Application grants access to various Microsoft utilities for remote Windows PC connections. This grants users the ability to log in to Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, Remote Desktop, Remote Desktop Services, and Microsoft Dev Box — all through a centralized platform.

“By employing the Windows App, individuals can have a harmonized encounter that streamlines the process of linking to the familiar Windows environment from any device,” stated Hilary Braun, senior product manager for Windows 365, in a recent blog post.
