When discussing privacy with Dodd concerning user-owned devices, I inquired about the safeguards in place between corporate and personal usage on devices managed by individuals, as well as the security measures in place.

Dodd explained that Kai acquires information regarding a customer’s devices promptly. He stated, “It only accesses this data when needed to address a query. Kai operates under the same level of security as Kandji’s other products. Throughout a user’s session, Kai is unable to reach other clients’ data.”

Furthermore, he assured that the data utilized is transmitted to OpenAI via the company’s secure AI system. The data is both encrypted while at rest and during transport, with tightly regulated access. “If AI can enhance our users’ experiences and boost their work efficiency, we will leverage it,” he expressed. “This instance aligns perfectly with its application, and we intend to delve into additional possibilities going forward. AI serves a greater purpose than merely serving a marketing checklist.”
