About the Partner

Company: Watchdog Cyber
Headquarters: Spring Lake, Michigan
Founded: 2022
Website: www.watchdogcyber.com
Industry: Managed Service Provider (MSP)

Watchdog Cyber provides proactive cybersecurity solutions and compliance services specifically designed for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). The company serves various industries, including healthcare, logistics, education, and manufacturing, and is dedicated to helping clients enhance their security measures and minimize risks within their digital environments. Key aspects of their mission include email authentication and domain protection.
The Challenge: Scaling Email Authentication and Creating Client Visibility
As a fast-growing MSP, Watchdog Cyber needed to onboard and manage dozens of client domains efficiently while maintaining accuracy and scalability. Aaron Gurgul, Co-Founder and CISO at Watchdog Cyber, turned to EasyDMARC to bring clarity to the process.

“The onboarding experience was pretty streamlined. I signed the MSP paperwork and had access to the platform within less than 30 minutes. Shortly after, I had 20-30 domains loaded up and fully onboarded,” says Aaron.

Within three to four weeks, the team had sufficient aggregate data to confidently move those domains to a p=reject DMARC policy.
However, enforcement was only part of the challenge.
Many prospects and clients had incomplete SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configurations. Some did not even realize their parked domains were vulnerable. In one case, a logistics company with 32 domains, 26 of which were parked, had a parked domain abused, sending approximately 1,200 emails per month without the company’s knowledge.
Additionally, marketing-heavy clients sending 30,000 to 100,000 emails per month were experiencing poor deliverability due to improperly configured DNS records across automated marketing platforms.
Watchdog Cyber needed a platform that could provide:

Clear domain-level visibility
Scalable enforcement
Deliverability improvement
A simple, visual way to engage prospects

The Solution: A Scalable Platform for Enforcement, Visibility, and Growth
Rapid Onboarding and Enforcement
EasyDMARC enabled Watchdog Cyber to quickly onboard domains, monitor aggregate data, and progressively enforce DMARC policies.

“Within 3-4 weeks, I had gathered enough information to configure the domains with a reject policy,” notes Aaron. The platform’s intuitive interface simplified domain management and removed the complexity of manual DNS edits.

Turning Security into a Sales Advantage with Touchpoint
One of the most impactful tools has been Touchpoint, EasyDMARC’s lead generation tool for MSPs.
Watchdog Cyber uses Touchpoint during in-person seminars by sharing a QR code that directs prospects to a landing page featuring the domain scanner.

“It’s an icebreaker conversation. They scan their domain, see a 0 out of 10 score, and immediately want to improve their ranking to 10.”

Touchpoint has become a powerful prospecting and follow-up tool, transforming technical security assessments into visual, easy-to-understand conversations.
Improving Deliverability with EasySender
For marketing-heavy clients, Watchdog Cyber leverages EasySender for:

Email list verification
Inbox placement testing

One entertainment venue client was sending high volumes of marketing emails and needed assurance around inbox placement. Through list verification and placement testing:

Risky or undeliverable addresses were removed
Inbox placement exceeded 98%

For another client sending approximately 40,000 emails per month, DNS misconfigurations across two marketing platforms were quickly corrected, resulting in full DMARC compliance and significant improvements in deliverability.
Seamless Integration and Operational Efficiency
Watchdog Cyber also implemented the Autotask integration to streamline billing.

“The overall setup was pretty easy. We created an API user inside Autotask, did some minor mapping, and had everything configured within 10 minutes.”

From an analytics standpoint, the team values the clarity and usability of EasyDMARC’s reporting tools.

“I don’t know if there’s a cleaner platform out there,” highlights Aaron.

The Outcome: Security, Scalability, and Business Growth
Since partnering with EasyDMARC, Watchdog Cyber has achieved:

Full DMARC enforcement across dozens of domains
Improved deliverability for high-volume marketing clients
Detection and mitigation of active domain abuse
Greater client confidence and measurable value delivery
A scalable framework for onboarding new domains rapidly

Perhaps most importantly, DMARC has become a driver of business development.

“DMARC is a great way to open doors with prospects. It’s a great prospecting tool, and our customers see the value we are bringing them”, highlights Aaron.

By combining enforcement, observability, deliverability optimization, and prospect engagement tools, Watchdog Cyber has transformed email authentication from a technical necessity into a strategic advantage.
