How to use Window Tiling with macOS Sequoia

Learn the process of tiling windows on a Mac system.

Here is the explanation on how each method operates:

Utilize the Dragging Technique

To tile a window, drag the application window to any edge of the display – top, left, right, or a corner. A highlighted area will appear, and upon releasing the window, it will automatically snap into that position once the cursor reaches the edge of the screen. Be patient as the Mac system aligns the window based on the cursor location.

Opt for the Option Key

For a quicker method, hold down the Option key while dragging the window towards the top, left, or right edge of the screen. Release the window within the highlighted area for it to snap into place. If you aim to position four windows, ensure you move the cursor all the way to the corner.
