Specialized linguistic models (SLMs) — AI constructs honed on datasets tailored for a specific sector — are poised to make substantial inroads in diverse industries, elucidated Ray. Gartner foresaw that 90% of GenAI-driven systems will be leveraging SLMs by 2030.

The prognostication from the firm stipulates that at least half of corporations will have embraced products or services to tackle disinformation security by 2030, a climb from less than 5% in 2024.
