Upgrade cycles to boost global sales of AI-enabled PCs: Lenovo

During Computex 2024, Lenovo expanded its AI selection by introducing laptops powered by AMD’s 3rd Gen Ryzen AI chips, aiming at a wide array of customers, ranging from individuals to small and mid-sized enterprises.

Furthermore, Lenovo collaborated with Qualcomm and Microsoft to unveil the initial Copilot+ PCs supported by Snapdragon X Elite processors. The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x and ThinkPad T14s Gen 6, which have been on the market since the previous quarter, offer improved customization and AI-infused computational capabilities, featuring Windows 11 and Copilot+ features.

Lenovo’s method, as Babu delineated, revolves around enriching the user interface by empowering its PCs to learn, adapt, and utilize data saved on the device. The strategy also accentuates the significance of a hybrid AI configuration that functions both in the cloud and on the device.
