Put not your trust in Windows — or CrowdStrike

It came as no surprise to discover that, as per the individuals at QR Code Generator, “Examination of Google search information has unearthed that online queries for “Microsoft substitute,” “MacOS,” “Debian,” “Ubuntu,” and “Linux” rose significantly by up to 290% globally during Microsoft’s worldwide IT disruption.”

Setting aside that cheeky attitude, our reliance on Windows is simply excessive. If we all switched to Macs or Linux, we could potentially face similar issues, but the likelihood would be lower. Linux is more secure by its very nature, although it has experienced security breaches as well. However, such incidents occur far less frequently compared to Windows.
