The U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ) has pressed charges against 14 individuals from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK or North Korea) for their supposed participation in an extensive plot to defy sanctions and engage in wire fraud, money laundering, and identity theft by unlawfully pursuing work opportunities in American corporations and charities.
