Now, Spain's competition authority is reviewing Apple's App Store

The Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia (CNMC), the competition regulator of Spain, has initiated an examination of Apple’s App Store, as reported by Reuters.

As per the regulator, Apple might have implemented varied business terms for developers vending mobile applications through the App Store. In the event of such a situation, Apple could face penalties amounting to a maximum of 10% of the organization’s worldwide earnings.

Apple refutes any misconduct allegation, asserting that developers from Spain, regardless of their size, engage in fair competition on the App Store. The corporation states its commitment to collaborating with the CNMC to resolve the issues.
