ChatGPT users left speechless by delays

Equally, DeepMind, the AI research division of Google, has been making progress in voice-oriented AI through its LaMDA language model.

According to Neil Shah, VP for research and partner at Counterpoint Research, “Anthropic has entered this fierce AI competition this year with models that are intended to directly challenge the latest advancements from OpenAI and Google.” Shah added, “Generative AI offers vast opportunities, and each company like Anthropic and OpenAI will have to focus on specific use cases and target audience segments. Anthropic’s focus, for instance, is on coding, writing, and workflow streamlining.”

Apart from specialized AI models, significant language models like Bard (Google AI) and Jurassic-1 Jumbo (AI21 Labs) are continuously improving, some of which are integrating basic features for voice interaction and response generation.
