A specific ethic individual or team could tackle one of the most fundamental concerns related to AI, highlights Willemsen from Gartner. Irrespective of the ongoing project, one of the most commonly raised queries at a board level is whether the company can utilize AI for it, he mentioned. “And although somewhat justifiable, the second question is almost always disregarded: ‘Should we use AI?’” he elaborated.

Instead of proceeding with this evident void, Willemsen suggests that organizations reverse the sequence of inquiries. “First and foremost: What is my end goal? Put AI on the backburner for a moment. Let that be the primary focus,” he remarked, adding that the majority of organizations adopting this method witness more tangible achievements.
