Upon awakening, Apple IT managers were greeted with reports of two currently exploited vulnerabilities affecting Intel Macs, iPhones, iPads, and even Vision Pro users. Apple has promptly issued patches for these vulnerabilities. Consequently, the next realization for administrators was the urgency in completing any required software validation procedures in order to hasten the update installation.

In the current era of remotely supervised devices and increasingly proficient MDM platforms, this is significantly less challenging than in previous times. Typically, you can adjust a policy and distribute updates to all supervised devices swiftly.

Organizations without these frameworks, or those with staff utilizing personal devices for accessing potentially sensitive internal information, will need to exert more effort to persuade users to apply security updates.
