“Artifacts” are dynamic workspaces that, according to Lin, empower users to “genuinely understand Claude’s thought process and to actively improve results with Claude.” These tools will support users in crafting data visualizations, reports, presentations, and more.

“One aspect I find particularly valuable in utilizing artifacts is as a means to brainstorm ideas with Claude and leverage Claude’s capabilities to envision diagrams and conceptual models,” Lin added. For instance, a marketer might utilize an artifact to develop a marketing calendar for a campaign or to create content for a campaign, or a strategic business plan. In the realm of sales, Claude could analyze sales figures, predict future trends, and develop materials for a sales presentation.

Lin mentioned that the activity feed allows users to draw inspiration from colleagues within their organization. He explained, “The activity feed essentially allows you and your colleagues to share the most meaningful feedback you have derived from working alongside Claude. You can easily disseminate key insights gained from your interactions with Claude through artifacts across the organization.”
