Analysis: Embedded AI to enhance fascination in Virtual and Augmented Reality

A recent projection from the survey company IDC suggests that the delivery of headgear for VR, AR, and MR will surge by 41.4% in 2025. Additionally, with reduced costs of hardware, the primary appeal will be the integrated AI capabilities, as reported by Reuters.

The latest AI headgear, known as ER (Extended Reality), is anticipated to capture slightly above a quarter of the market within the next four years.

The collective sales of VR, AR, MR, and ER headgear are poised to escalate from 6.4 million units in 2024 to 22.9 million units in 2028.
