Up to 77 banks, crypto exchanges, and national bodies have been identified as the focus of a recently unearthed Android remote access trojan (RAT) named DroidBot. “DroidBot is an advanced RAT that merges concealed VNC and overlay assault methods with functionalities akin to spyware, like keylogging and monitoring of user interfaces,” explained Cleafy researchers Simone Mattia and Alessandro.
