Sanctions were imposed by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the U.S. Treasury Department on Friday against a cybersecurity firm based in Beijing called Integrity Technology Group, Incorporated. This company has been identified as responsible for multiple cyber intrusions targeting individuals in the United States.
The cyber attacks have been linked to a Chinese state-backed cyber threat group known as Flax Typhoon, also referred to as Ethereal Panda.
