Amazon Web Services and Anthropic partnership aims to expedite model advancement, improve AI processors

Significantly, the previous month Anthropic launched the feature named “Computer Use” in Claude 3.5 Sonnet. By utilizing this functionality, the model can operate computers similar to humans; it holds the ability to swiftly maneuver cursors, switch between tabs, browse websites, click buttons, type, and generate research documents aside from its creative functions. In total, the corporation states that Sonnet surpasses all other existing models when it comes to agentic coding tasks.

Since being integrated into Amazon Bedrock, AWS’ fully-managed platform for constructing creative AI models, in April 2023, the adoption of Claude has been rapid, now catering to “tens of thousands” of businesses spanning various sectors, as stated by AWS. These foundational models are employed to develop a variety of functions, including chatbots, programming aids, and intricate business operations.

“This year has seen remarkable growth for Claude, and our partnership with Amazon has played a crucial role in extending Claude’s capabilities to millions of users on Amazon Bedrock,” mentioned Dario Amodei, one of the co-founders and CEO of Anthropic, in an official announcement.
