Dataminr used RSAC 2026 to roll out Dataminr for Cyber Defense, a new product suite the company says is designed to move security teams from alert-driven response to preemptive, risk-prioritized action. The suite aims to combine Dataminr’s real-time event and threat detection with an organization’s internal telemetry so teams can quickly determine what matters to their specific environment, then act.“No business, and no critical infrastructure,is immune from cyber threats,” said Jen Easterly, chair of Dataminr’s Corporate Advisory Board. “Real resilience means moving past reactive alerting to proactive, secure-by-design defense: understand the threat, prepare for it, and respond fast.”Dataminr says the release delivers three components that integrate with existing security tooling:Client-Tailored Threat Intelligence, an offering that “automatically and in real-time filters noise and highlights the threats that truly matter to the organization by fusing external threat signals with internal telemetry,” according to Dataminr.Agentic TI Ops, which Dataminr positions as a system that combines its client-tailored intelligence with other commercial and internally generated intelligence, and then orchestrates workflows like investigation, enrichment, prioritization and distribution.Predictive Threat Exposure Management, a continuous threat exposure management (CTEM) capability that combines cyber risk quantification with security control assessment and vulnerability prioritization, with reporting tied to business impact rather than alert volume or CVSS scores.“We acquired ThreatConnect with a clear vision: to unite our unrivaled breadth and depth of external threat signals with internal telemetry and provide organizations with clarity on what threats are impacting their business so they can act with speed and precision,” said Dataminr CEO and founder Ted Bailey.Dataminr also said the suite is built around what it calls agentic and predictive AI, including “55+ proprietary LLMs and a 12+ year event archive.” The company claims that, in customer deployments, “97% of customers” reported improved effectiveness in tools like SIEM, SOAR and EDR, and that “67% of users” reported cutting mean time to respond by more than half.At RSAC 2026, Dataminr is presenting the new suite and previewing upcoming agentic AI capabilities.
