Fake variations of top-selling mobile phone brands available at discounted rates have been detected to come with an altered variant of an Android malicious software called Triada.
Kaspersky revealed in a statement, “A total of more than 2,600 users across diverse regions have come across the updated edition of Triada, with the majority being in Russia.” The instances of infections were identified during the period spanning from March 13 to 27, 2025.
