Adobe lets customers test Firefly AI video generator

The video generation feature that Adobe showcased last month is now available for testing on the Firefly web app located at firefly.adobe.com. This functionality empowers individuals to craft brief, 720p videos from text prompts created in natural language. These videos can encompass authentic video clips and both 2D and 3D animations. Furthermore, users have the option to create videos using static images as prompts, effectively transforming a picture or drawing into supplementary footage.

To enhance the level of control over the final product, users can modify aspects such as camera perspectives, framing, movement, and magnification. In addition, Adobe is exploring new methods to steer the AI-generated video content.

Adobe has ensured that the video model is trained solely on available stock footage and public domain content that is authorized for training its AI algorithms. The company affirms that it does not utilize customer data or data sourced from the internet for this purpose.
