To initiate Copilot in Outlook, tap the Copilot button on the ribbon toolbar. You have the flexibility to define the desired tone and length for Copilot’s output.
In Word, utilize the toolbar underneath the generated draft to manage, retry, discard, or refine the text. The toolbar in Outlook provides identical functions as the one in Word.

In Word, simply select the text for rewriting, click the Copilot icon on the left margin, and choose Auto rewrite. Examine and adjust Copilot’s proposed rewrite for the selected text.
Access a new paragraph in the sidebar that has been rewritten by Copilot. In OneNote, trigger a Copilot rewrite by using the right-click menu on a text field.
The rewritten text will display above the original content in the text field. Copilot offers a concise summary of lengthy documents in the sidebar.
References can be clicked to view citations from the document used by Copilot for the summary. Summaries generated by Copilot through OneNote’s right-click menu are situated at the top of the text field.
