While no system can guarantee complete security, the majority of issues on Apple’s platforms arise from user mistakes rather than globally implemented automated PC-disrupting software updates.
Undoubtedly, the longstanding belief that Apple is primarily a consumer-oriented product unsuitable for business use persists, and altering that perception is an ongoing process — but incidents like the Crowdstrike disaster are likely to prompt individuals to question that standpoint.
The trend towards diversification seems to be gaining momentum.
